This is the standard way to keep the deck from pulling up on a morgan 27, it is a cable with a turnbuckle that goes from one of the plates at a shroud base, to the mast. The cables come down and are attached to a plate, which is held in place by a bolt through the mast. In the lower picture you can see the cut in the liner from when we tried using angled plates mounted to the hull to accomplish this. They tended to pull the hull in, so we went to the current system.
This is a picture of the inner track. It runs right along where the cabin meets the deck, from the shroud bases to the end of the boat. We have also added Garhauer adjustabe sheed leads.
This is a bridge over the hatch to the inside made by a friend of the boat. We have the halyard winches and rope clutches mounted on it, as well as the reefing lines. To use it we have a board we cut out to fit so that it sets on top of the counters that you stand on while putting up sails etc...
Here is a side view of the bridge, you can see how all of the halyards are led aft.
This is how we mounted the new Nexus instruments in the holes from the old equipment.
Our Harken windward sheeting mainsheet traveler.
This is our mainsail outhaul. Its the old mainsheet traveler, cut to size and mounted on the boom. It works great, much better than the previous regular car on a track which required manipulation with a heavy object to change position.
We've mounted an aluminum pole in the center of the cockpit to provide spot to stand on when healing heavily. Its removable with a pin on one end.

M27 Nemo: The owner of this Morgan has added a convertible chart table and set. It looks like a great way to save some precious space, have a good chart table and still have access to the rear of the quarter berth.
M27 Amigo Del Sol: The owner of this Morgan has added a traditional table in place of the port berths. This clears the path through the middle of the boat nicely, versus the folding table around the mast.
M27 BCNU: This Morgan has been upgraded with a mainsheet 3:1/6:1 from Garhauer.
M27 BCNU: The standing rigging has stretched a little over the years, so the owner of BCNU made a new mast step out of a 2" polyethylene block and bolted it in place to cure the problem.
I faired the keel on Lickety Split, here's the whole story.
